Commentary
This clip inspires good design methods for invitations. Layout and colours are very important. In the video we can see a vast array of different invite combinations from goofidity designs. These are amazing combinations. I would like to apply similar aspects to my invites when my illustrating skills are up to scratch which could be a long time.

Reflection
I decided to use last year’s exhibition invitation as a template because it was approved and I really liked the layout. I then applied our current headline ten squared and played around with different colour sequences as well and changing the text to suit this year’s correct information. It was confirmed that the ten squared logo requires a white background to work well. I wanted to keep the front simple and to the point with a little mystery. This entices the reader to turn over the invite for all the information. I am still not happy with my final designs especially the back as they have too much negative space in the middle. At least I learnt more about layout and colours via this exercise
